Nature's 8 Doctors!

Doctor #4
Exercise

We've all heard that exercise is good for us. Right? But why is it good for us?

First it comes down to the very basic premise of ALL life: Life is movement.

Life Is Movement!

Even when you are laying perfectly still and holding your breath there are still hundreds of functions going on in your body.

If you look at your body on the cellular level (the activity of each cell in your body) there are hundreds of functions going on every second of the day.

Even every molecule of your being is like a microscopic galaxy with electrons and protons spinning all around a neucleus. Just like the planets around the sun!

You blood is always moving. And you internal organs are creating and secreting fluids.

You don't feel these things. You're not supposed to. And, you don't have to know about any of those things in order to be healthy and live well.

You only have to know what makes all the processes work well. That is what "Nature's 8 Doctors" is all about.

Why We Need Exercise

For most of man's history, planned exercise was not necessary. Most humans got enough exercise just doing all the various physical tasks that were necessary to survive.

But in the last couple of centuries, we've become more and more sedentary. Especially in the last 100 years! This is why people probably have more and more physical problems now than at any other time in history.

The human body developed from physical movement. It needs physical movement to survive properly and healthfully. This is why most of us NEED to exercise in one way or another these days.

What Exercise Does

This is what exercise does:

  • Strengthens the muscles and the bones

  • Brings more nourishment and oxygen to the muscles

  • Cleans the waste materials out of muscles

  • Put more demand on the internal organs and causes them to gain greater strength

  • Enhances the immune system

  • Releases endorphins and relieves depression

All of this makes you feel better both physically and mentally!

Exercise Also Keeps Your Joints Healthy

Joints have no circulatory system. But they still require lubrication to work properly. This lubrication is called synovial fluid.

This lubrication is caused only by movement. Movement is what pumps the synovial fluid into the joints.

This is why the joints may seem stiff when you first wake up or when you have been sitting for an extended period of time. But, after you move around a bit they feel nice and loose.

Exercise keeps your joints healthy!

Forget The Pain - Have FUN!

So many people dred exercise because they think it has to be hard, painful, and boring. WRONG!

Exercise should be fun, pleasurable and enjoyable. NOT painful!

We've all heard: "No pain, No Gain". It may hold true for body builders and competitive athletes. But, other than that it's a lot of trash! Potentially harmful trash at that.

People who push their bodies too hard for too long invariably suffer from physical (and often mental) breakdowns.

Most intense athletes don't live to ripe old ages. Those who don't exercise at all generally don't live to be old either.

If you have a little soreness afterward it's OK. Just don't think you have to be gasping for breath and "feeling the burn". It's just not necessary.

Those who do normal physical work and/or exercise moderately and regularly seem to always have the healthiest lives and live the longest.

Do The Things YOU Enjoy

You don't have to join a gym or buy barbells to gain strength and health. But those things are good if you enjoy them.

You just need to do physical activity that suits you. Walking, running, swimming, tennis, badminton, yoga, t'ai chi, gardening, housecleaning, etc.... Whatever makes you happy!

Whatever makes you move and breathe a little more deeply will be good for you! 30 minutes of this 4 or 5 times a week will keep your body and general physical condtion in good shape. It will also make your mind sharper, clearer, and happier.

Prostate Exercises

If your prostate is generally healthy, you won't really need to do any special prostate exercise.

But, if your prostate gland is ailing, some prostate exercise and correct prostate massage can help your prostate regain health much more quickly.

And often correct gentle prostate massage and some simple prostate exercise is all that is required to return a prostate to pain free health and excellent function.

Give Yourself Two Of The Best Gifts In Life!

So find something physical (that involves your whole body) that you enjoy doing and do it regularly.

It doesn't have to be the same thing every day. In fact, you'll get in better shape if you take your exercise in a variety of ways.

Whenever you can, do your exercise outdoors and in the fresh air, or at least with the windows open. The fresh air has more oxygen and more of the correct electrical charge that your body needs.

And most important, do exercise that you enjoy and that makes you feel good! You'll be giving yourself two of the best gifts in life: Better health and more Happiness!

Be Well.....
